Research & Development is a key concept for the Hampidjan group. We develop our trawls on an ongoing basis in collaboration with the practical fisherman and several research institutes worldwide. At the Sintef flume tank in Hirtshals, our trawl models are throughly tested in view to ensuring optimum fishing performance. The new products are subsequently tested by the fishermen at sea – another valuable kind of co-operation.
